What can you expect during the headshot session?

We’ll meet at the studio and start with a chat about you, your work, and the industry you’re in. This helps us understand your needs and gives us a chance to get to know each other. Together, we’ll decide on how the photos should look. While you get ready in the changing room, we’ll set up the lighting and background in the studio to capture shots tailored to your requirements.

Typically 80–150 photos will be taken during the session. This allows us to capture the best facial expressions and make adjustments to the lighting and background as needed. The lighting and background will be changed during the shoot to give you some different looks. After the shoot, the photos are passed to our editor, who removes unusable shots (e.g., closed eyes). You’ll then receive a gallery of proof images, where you can pick your favorites using an easy-to-use system. Your chosen photos will be edited and retouched to perfection.

A LinkedIn headshot session usually lasts 30–45 minutes per person.

You’ll receive your proof gallery within 3 working days after the shoot. Once you’ve made your selections, the final edited photos will be ready within another 3 working days. If you have tight deadlines, let us know, and we can accommodate.

Yes! We recommend wearing what you’d typically choose for a client meeting or job interview. Since the photos will focus on your head and shoulders, you can bring 2–3 different outfit options. For example, you might bring a jacket and blouse/shirt as one option, and a smart top as another. Depending on your industry, you may also want to bring a more casual option.

Our studio has white, grey, black, and coloured backgrounds available. We can also shoot outdoors near the studio if you prefer, or on location. Additionally, custom backgrounds can be added in post-production if you have a specific idea in mind.
