I have been lucky enough to work with Alim Beisembayev for several years, primarily focusing on the portrait and promotional photography required for his professional career. My work is used across his website, concert programs, and publicity materials.
Since his win at the Leeds International Piano Competition in 2021, the demand for current, high-quality images reflecting his status has increased significantly. These recent portrait sessions were commissioned to ensure his visual identity matches his current performance schedule at venues such as the Southbank Centre and Wigmore Hall.
Pianist and Professor
It is necessary for his promotional materials to accurately reflect his professional standing. Alim Beisembayev is now a Professor of Music at the Royal College of Music. This academic commitment runs alongside his demanding international performance schedule.
I have seen and heard his performances at the Southbank Centre and Wigmore Hall. Witnessing the scale of these events confirms the standard his promotional imagery must meet. The goal of the portrait work is to capture the necessary intensity and professionalism expected of a musician performing at this level.
My role is to provide the visual assets that communicate the discipline of a world-class pianist who is also dedicated to music education.
